THE CARRIAGE INN BED AND BREAKFAST POLICIES

As a small bed and breakfast, we are greatly affected by cancellations. When you reserve a room, we agree to turn away all other requests for that room and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve it. We strongly recommend Travel Protection Options available at time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations canceled less than seven days in advance of your scheduled arrival will be charged for the entire reservation. The 10% deposit made at time of reservation will be refunded if the reservation is canceled more than 14 days days before your scheduled arrival date. WITHOUT EXCEPTION, a person who makes a reservation and who fails to show or call to cancel will be charged for the entire reservation.

EXCEPT DURING THE WINTER SEASON, with a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Holiday booking, we ask that you join us for at least a two-night stay. Single-night weekend stays may be arranged during the busy season based on availability at the discretion of the innkeeper. PLEASE CALL US TO CHECK FOR ONE-NIGHT STAY AVAILABILITY.

CHECK-IN HOURS Your innkeepers are here to greet you between 3:00PM and 7:00PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. If you'll be arriving after 7:00 PM please call us so we can give you self-check-in instructions.

EXTRA GUEST Room rates assume 2 guests per room. There will be an extra $35.00 charge per person per night for more than two persons in the same room. We will accommodate more than two guests in any one room only at our discretion.

Corporate and government, mid-week rates,(one guest per room) are available subject to availability.

PAYMENT: Rooms may be guaranteed with any major credit card. A deposit of 10% will be collected at time of booking to verify the card. The remainder of your balance will be automatically collected 7 days before check-in, per our cancellation policy. Please note: your card is charged for 100% of your balance two weeks before arrival when choosing Travel Protection.

SMOKING (OF ANY PRODUCT), AND LIGHTING OF CANDLES OR BURNING INSENCE, ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE INN. Smoking is permitted only on the front porch and brick patio if your fellow guests are not around. Cannabis is 100% not tolerated on the property. We adhere strictly to this policy due to insurance and fire laws. We can smell the smoke even if you open the window in your room and blow it outside. Please don't make us charge you $500 for smoke cleaning and liability or require you to find alternate lodging.

CHILDREN: The inn is not suited for young children. We welcome well-behaved children over the age of 12 with adult supervision in the Main House. The Carriage House Suite is available for families with younger children with parental supervision required at all times. Please inquire.

We cannot accommodate guests under the age of 21 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will ask for identification to verify your age, if necessary.

ANIMALS: The Inn has a no pet policy. Service animals are accepted on a per case basis, upon request, in the Robin's Nest Suite only.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES: Gift Certificates can be redeemed by making a reservation. They are subject to availability. Please make a reservation online or by calling the Inn directly (888-822-0108). Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used on a later stay. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. Please provide the Gift Certificate Number when making your reservation.

AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, 10% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.


SCHEDULED DEPOSIT
7 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), the initial deposit will be collected in addition to the scheduled amount. Applies to: all reservations.

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
